Regular Season Round 11: Bigua - Aguada 108-104

Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Montevideo: Bigua (#8) and Aguada (#9). Bigua (5-4) won against visiting Aguada (4-6) 108-104. Bigua looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Victor Rudd (206-91, college: S.Florida) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Donald Sims (190-87, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) helped adding 28 points and 7 assists. Naturalized Italian Leandro Morales (186-80, college: Texas A&M, agency: Pro Sports) responded with 31 points and 6 assists and American forward Dwayne Davis (196-89, college: Southern Miss) scored 36 points (!!!) (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Bigua moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Defensor and Penarol. Aguada lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the ninth position with six games lost. Bigua's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo .
