Very predictable result when third ranked Trotamundos (11-4) won against 8th ranked Cangrejeros (2-10) in Maturin 68-64 on Thursday. It was a very good performance for international forward Miguel Ruiz (197-90, agency: Pro Sports) who helped to win the game recording 5 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Carlos Milano (198-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. The former international swingman Jorge Rondon (193-90) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds and guard Amos Acosta (180-96) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Cangrejeros. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Trotamundos moved-up to second place. Cangrejeros lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. Trotamundos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in La Asuncion to the arena .
