We should mention about the upset which took place in Montevideo, where higher ranked Defensor (6-5) lost at home to ninth ranked Aguada (5-6) 93-97 on Friday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Defensor. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Italian Leandro Morales (186-80, college: Texas A&M, agency: Pro Sports) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and center Sebastian Izaguirre (206-85) who added 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Argentinian Facundo Giorgi (203-85, college: FIU) with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Argentinian Eric Flor (190-93) scored 23 points and 6 assists. Defensor's coach Alvaro Tito tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Capitol. Defensor at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost.
