Regular Season Round 6: Puerto Montt - Temuco 95-81

Very important is a road loss of third ranked AB Temuco (4-4) against fifth ranked Puerto Montt (3-5) on Sunday night. Visiting AB Temuco was defeated by Puerto Montt in Puerto Montt 95-81. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for American forward Josh Morris (203, college: UTPB) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. The former international point guard Pedro Sandoval (180-89) contributed with 21 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Puerto Montt players scored in double figures. Guard Felipe Acuna (182-92) replied with 28 points and point guard Sebastian Figueroa (175-88) added 18 points and 8 assists in the effort for AB Temuco. Puerto Montt have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. AB Temuco at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Puerto Montt's next round opponent will be AB Ancud (#6) at home. AB Temuco will play against the league's leader Las Animas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
