No shocking result in a game in Margarita where seventh ranked Taurinos (5-11) defeated 9th ranked Condores (1-14) 75-59 on Sunday. Taurinos looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Maikel Avila (198-92, college: Ranger CC) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. International guard Luis Betancourt (183-2) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Taurinos players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Kervin Perez (191-97) who recorded 7 points and 8 assists and power forward Erick Rodriguez (201-99) added 13 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Taurinos maintains seventh position with 5-11 record. Condores lost seventh consecutive game.
