The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Caracas: Llaneros (#6) and Diablos (#4). Llaneros (8-8) smashed visiting Diablos (9-7) by 39 points 105-66. Llaneros looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Llaneros made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Francisco Marquez (190-93) who scored 38 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Center Carlos Rodriguez (206-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 21 rebounds and 6 blocks (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Llaneros players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Anyelo Cisneros (198-97) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and center Dario Castro (206-91) added 11 points and 12 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Llaneros have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Diablos lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with seven games lost.
