Important game to mention about took place in Caracas. Spartans saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Indios 71-68 on Friday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Spartans had a 15-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. International center Windi Graterol (204-86, agency: Pro Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and international swingman Pedro Chourio (186-90, agency: Pro Sports) supported him with 16 points and 5 assists. Even 14 points by the former international swingman Cesar Silva (190-81) did not help to save the game for Indios. The former international point guard Harold Cazorla (175-91, agency: Promo Sport ID) added 7 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Spartans will play against Guaiqueries in Porlamar in the next round. Indios' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Caracas to the arena Broncos.
