Important game to mention about took place in Santa Fe. Fifth ranked Estudiantes T. (11-6) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging much higher ranked Union SF (14-6) 67-65 on Friday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Ignacio Echevarria (195-98) who helped to win the game recording 7 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Diego Peralta (195-94) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Naturalized Spanish swingman Maximiliano Martin (190-90) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Andres Jaime (184-0) added 14 points in the effort for Union SF. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Estudiantes T. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Barrio Parque and Salta Basket. Union SF at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with Echague. Estudiantes T. will play against league's second-placed Echague in Parana in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Union SF will have a break next round.
