Very important is a road loss of second ranked Universidad de Concepcion (6-3) against sixth ranked Universidad Catolica (4-6) on Sunday night. Visiting Universidad de Concepcion was defeated by Universidad Catolica in a tough game in Santiago 70-75. International center Sebastian Silva (187-96) nailed 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and Argentinian forward Lucas Diaz (198-92) accounted for 22 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Universidad Catolica's coach Miguel Ureta allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward Lino Saez (-0) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and international guard Diego Silva (186-93) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for Universidad de Concepcion in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Universidad Catolica moved-up to fifth place. Universidad de Concepcion at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Universidad Catolica's next round opponent will be Quilicura (#6) on the road. Universidad de Concepcion will play against the league's leader Espanol de Talca (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
