We should mention about the upset which took place in , where higher ranked Dep Norte (6-11) lost to fourteenth ranked Riachuelo LR (6-15) in a road game 85-92. It was a great shooting night for Riachuelo LR especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. Diego Alvarez notched 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and guard Thiago Dasso (185-0) supported him with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Even 17 points by Celestino Cupulutti (186-93, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Dep Norte. Naturalized Italian Vicente Garello (203-97, agency: BIG) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
