LBF round 15 caused change at the leadership position. Fourth defeat of league's leader Ituano (9-4) against fourth ranked Sampaio (8-5) 73-43 was the most important game of the last round. Sampaio held Ituano to an opponent 23.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Sampaio forced 23 Ituano turnovers. It was a good game for international forward Raphaella Monteiro (181-95) who led her team to a victory with 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
