An interesting game for Deportivo Valdivia (9-7) which hosted in Valdivia one of their biggest challengers AB Temuco (8-8). Third ranked Deportivo Valdivia managed to get a 9-point victory 71-62. Deportivo Valdivia outrebounded AB Temuco 39-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian point guard Enzo Amado (183-95) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 6 assists and power forward Santiago Soulodre (195-98) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Deportivo Valdivia players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Felipe Acuna (182-92) responded with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Michael Ernst (187-82) scored 13 points. Deportivo Valdivia have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-7 record having four points less than leader Las Animas. AB Temuco at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Deportivo Valdivia will again play against AB Temuco (#4) on the road in the next round. AB Temuco will have a break next round.
