There was no surprise when 6th ranked Quilicura (3-17) was crushed at home by fourth ranked Puente Alto (10-10) 91-61 on Saturday. Puente Alto outrebounded Quilicura 41-26 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Quilicura's players. Argentinian forward Nicholas Wadell (201-89) scored 28 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Erik Carrasco (181-83) chipped in 6 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists during the contest. Puente Alto's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Heder Louis with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Jose Campos (189-80) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Puente Alto maintains fourth position with 10-10 record. Quilicura lost fourteenth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 17 games lost.
