Undefeated CAN Potosi (3-1) recorded its first loss in Oruro. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Calero (1-2) 72-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of CAN Potosi. Calero forced 21 CAN Potosi turnovers. Strangely CAN Potosi outrebounded Calero 38-25 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by American guard Scheraun King (190-87, college: Albany St.) who scored that evening 29 points and 5 steals and Oliver Chavez (-97) supported him with 9 points and 12 rebounds. Even a double-double of 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by the former international forward Cristhian Camargo (194-92) did not help to save the game for CAN Potosi. Cuban guard Adriano Barreras (186-89) added 13 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Five CAN Potosi players scored in double figures. Calero maintains fourth position with 1-2 record. CAN Potosi at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. Calero will play against higher ranked Rubair (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. CAN Potosi will play against Rubair and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
