Regular Season Round 3: Corinthians - Sesi Franca 63-83

Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Sao Paulo: Vivo/Franca (#4) and Corinthians (#6). Corinthians was crushed at home by 20 points 63-83 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a good game for point guard Adyel Pereira (188-2) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures. Forward Lucas Siewert (208-97, college: Colorado) answered with 19 points and guard Dalaqua Almentra (182-0) added 14 points in the effort for Corinthians. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vivo/Franca will play against Mogi (#5) in Mogi das Cruzes in the next round. Corinthians will have a break next round.
