7th ranked Sayago (2-3) was outscored at home by ninth ranked Danubio (2-3) with the biggest margin this round 85-63 on Thursday night. Danubio outrebounded Sayago 45-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Argentinian forward Martin Chervo (200-92) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Nicolas Andreoli (197-0) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four Danubio players scored in double figures. Danubio's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
