Regular Season Round 9: Stockolmo - Cordon 76-80
Date: August 21, 2021
The biggest surprise of round 9 was guest Cordon's (#2) road victory over Stockolmo (#3) 80-76 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was Italian-Argentinian center Damian Tintorelli (205-81) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Emiliano Baston (202-88) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Anthony Danridge (196-86, college: N.Mexico) who recorded 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Nicolas Pereyra (180-99) added 21 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stockolmo's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. They share it with Colon and L.Borges. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
