First defeat of Colonias G. (1-1) against San Jose (1-0) 102-59 was the most important game of the last round. San Jose dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Colonias G.'s 38. It was a good game for the former international forward Fernando Dose (200-94) who led his team to a victory with 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Argentinian forward Sebastian Picton (197-92) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four San Jose players scored in double figures. Argentinian Nelson Peralta (195-92) answered with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Nicolas Hepp added 10 points in the effort for Colonias G.The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Colonias G. will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest. San Jose will try to continue on its current victory against Paranaense at home.
