Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: U.Atletica (#8) and Miramar (#11). Miramar was defeated at home 87-95 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. U.Atletica shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Antonio Bivins (198-92, college: UMass Lowell) notched a double-double by scoring 30 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Emilio Taboada (191-82) supported him with 21 points and 9 assists. Even a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds by Sebastian Ottonello (195-97) did not help to save the game for Miramar. Point guard Ignacio Morena (183-0) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. U.Atletica have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Sayago and Verdirrojo. Miramar lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with five games lost. They share it with Tabare.
