Undefeated leader Sao Paulo delivered the sixth consecutive win on Thursday night. This time they beat 7th ranked Rio Claro (2-5) 95-85. Sao Paulo looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Bruno Caboclo (206-95) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American power forward Tyrone Curnell (203-88, college: Valdosta St.) chipped in 24 points. Five Sao Paulo players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Cassiano Bueno (187-97) who recorded 17 points and 7 assists and the former international Betinho Duarte (195-88) added 21 points respectively.
