Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: L.Borges (#3) and U.Atletica (#6). L.Borges (5-2) won against visiting U.Atletica (3-4) 81-72. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of U.Atletica. L.Borges players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American center Ricardo Glenn (203-90, college: USC Upstate) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 20 rebounds. Forward Demian Alvarez (193-84) contributed with 30 points for the winners. American forward Antonio Bivins (198-92, college: UMass Lowell) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds and Emilio Taboada (191-82) added 25 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) in the effort for U.Atletica. L.Borges have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. U.Atletica at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Verdirrojo and Danubio. L.Borges' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Lagomar.
