Not a big story in a game in Queretaro where Libertadores were defeated by Soles 104-89 on Friday. Soles had a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. International center Daniel Amigo (208-95, college: Denver) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and naturalized American point guard Eric Garcia (183-94, college: Wofford) chipped in 19 points. At the losing side American Tony Mitchell (198-89, college: Alabama, agency: BIG) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) and the other American import Vander Blue (196-92, college: Marquette, agency: Shark Sports Management) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Five Soles and four Libertadores players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Soles will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Libertadores will play against Astros in Guadalajara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
