A very close game took place in Queretaro between Libertadores and Soles. Libertadores got a very close home victory over Soles. Libertadores managed to escape with a 3-point win 106-103 on Saturday evening. Libertadores made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American power forward Anthony Young (200-89, college: KWC) stepped up and scored 29 points for the winners and his fellow American import Vander Blue (196-92, college: Marquette, agency: Shark Sports Management) chipped in 21 points and 6 assists. At the losing side American-Argentinian guard Erik Thomas (195-95, college: New Orleans) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and international guard Luke Martinez (190-90, college: Wyoming) scored 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Libertadores and five Soles players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Libertadores will meet Astros in the next round.
