Sao Paulo (8-1) recorded its first loss in Mogi das Cruzes on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Mogi (5-4) 86-71. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Sao Paulo. Mogi shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Lucas Lacerda (180-97) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Wesley Alves (198-96) chipped in 25 points. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard Henrique Coelho (184-93) who recorded 12 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and the former international Bruno Caboclo (206-95) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Four Mogi and five Sao Paulo players scored in double figures. Mogi moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Paulistano. Sao Paulo at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost.
