The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Cacique D. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Cacique D. defeated 8th ranked Indigenas in Diriangen 111-103. Dominican forward Xavier de la Rosa (196-91) fired a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jeremy Agosto chipped in a triple-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists. Cacique D.'s coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Puerto Rican point guard Christian Lopez (183-95) produced 34 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 5 assists and American center James Edmond Jr (203-91, college: Lincoln, MO) added 23 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Indigenas players scored in double figures. Cacique D. (6-2) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Indigenas at the other side keep the eighth place with six games lost.
