Regular Season Round 14: Bauru - Sao Paulo 76-68

There was a change at the Paulista leadership position after last games. Round 14 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Sao Paulo (8-2). They were defeated by fourth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (7-4) 76-68 on Monday night. International Gabriel Galvanini (202-98) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Alex Garcia (190-80, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four Paschoalotto/Bauru players scored in double figures. The former international forward Marquinhos Vieira (207-84) responded with 16 points and 6 assists and the former international point guard Henrique Coelho (184-93) scored 17 points. Paschoalotto/Bauru moved-up to third place, which they share with Pinheiros. Sao Paulo at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Franca. Sao Paulo will play next round against strong Pinheiros trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will travel locally in Sao Paulo to the arena of Pinheiros. Paschoalotto/Bauru will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Paulistano in Sao Paulo.
