Rather predictable result when second ranked Fuerza Regia (4-2) beat on the road bottom-ranked Halcones UV Xalapa (0-6) 94-89 on Tuesday. Fuerza Regia shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Rodney Green (197-88, college: La Salle) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and Argentinian forward Facundo Pinero (202-88) who added 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Ishmael Lane (203-97, college: NSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds and guard Raul Delgado (190-91, college: MSU Denver) scored 17 points and 6 assists. Four Halcones UV Xalapa players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Astros. Loser Halcones UV Xalapa still closes the standings with six games lost.
