The game in was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Tipitapa (4-8) played at the court of 5th ranked Leonas (2-8). Tipitapa defeated Leonas 68-56 on Saturday. Tipitapa dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Leonas' 28. Tipitapa forced 20 Leonas turnovers. The best player for the winners was Clenia Salazar who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 23 rebounds and 9 assists. Point guard Maigrely Urbina (-1) chipped in 15 points. Five Tipitapa players scored in double figures. Tipitapa's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Janis Martinez produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds and center Guisselle Rodriguez added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Tipitapa. They maintain fourth place with 4-8 record. Leonas lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost.
