Another exciting game where sixth ranked Rivas (6-5) edged by one point 5th ranked Leon (5-6) 70-69. It was a good game for American center BJ Glasford (196-95, college: Stetson, agency: Green Sports Management) who saved his team from a defeat with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import Quentin Davis (199, college: Mendocino CC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 20 rebounds for the winners. Cuban Yuniskel Molina (183-93) replied with a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists and center Miguel Almonte (211-91) added 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Leon. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Rivas moved-up to fifth place. Leon at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost.
