Bottom-ranked Tigres (0-12) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to fifth ranked Rivas (7-5) 79-71. Rivas players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Darryl Palmer (203-94, college: SC State) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import center BJ Glasford (196-95, college: Stetson, agency: Green Sports Management) accounted for 17 points, 5 rebounds, 13 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Four Rivas players scored in double figures. Point guard Camilo Ulloa came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and American Quincy Scates (198-89, college: TWU) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Tigres in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rivas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ingenieria. Tigres at the other side still closes the standings with 12 games lost.
