Regular Season Round 2: La Union - Olimpico 77-89

But La Union was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from La Banda 89-77 on Saturday night. American center Michael Buchanan (212-94, college: USC Upstate) scored 18 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Juan De La Fuente (195-0) chipped in 12 points during the contest. Five Olimpico players scored in double figures. Forward Patricio Tabarez (195-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and Lucas Arn (197-89) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Olimpico will meet at home Comunicaciones in the next round which should be an easy win for them. La Union will play against Quimsa in Santiado del Estero and hope to win that game.
