Regular Season Round 9: Lenadores - Dorados 93-78

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Durango where 3rd placed Dorados (6-6) were defeated by fourth ranked Lenadores (5-8) 93-78 on Thursday. Lenadores looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) who scored 26 points and 5 rebounds. Swedish-American point guard Omar Krayem (186-88, college: CBU, agency: Haylett Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-93, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) who recorded 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized American Durrell Summers (196-89, college: Michigan St.) added 23 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lenadores maintains fourth place with 5-8 record. Loser Dorados dropped to the second position with six games lost. Lenadores will meet Panteras (#5) in the next round. Dorados will play against Plateros and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
