No shocking result in a game when second ranked Quimsa (5-2) beat 5th ranked Riachuelo LR (3-4) in La Rioja 80-76 on Friday. American power forward Eric Anderson (204-93, college: New Haven, agency: Duran International) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side and international Mauro Cosolito (195-88) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Quimsa players scored in double figures. The former international Eric Flor (190-93) came up with 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Pablo Espinoza (201-87) added 9 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Riachuelo LR in the defeat. Quimsa have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Gimnasia and Instituto.
