Not a big story in a game in Valparaiso where 8th ranked Arabe de Valp. (1-6) was defeated by top-ranked Manquehue (6-0) 87-69 on Saturday. Manquehue looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The former international Fernando Schuler (190-91) fired 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international forward Jorge Schuler (199-87) chipped in 21 points. Four Manquehue players scored in double figures. The former international center Patricio Briones (212-72, college: Miami Dade CC) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Ricardo Jadue (-98) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Manquehue have an impressive six-game winning streak.
