Regular Season Round 12: Bohemios - Hebraica 40-78
Date: October 21, 2021
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Hebraica (#2) and Bohemios (#2). Bohemios were smashed at home by 38 points 40-78 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Hebraica held Bohemios to an opponent 23.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Hebraica forced 22 Bohemios turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian forward Ana Paz (178-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and the former international guard Natasha Dolinsky (173-97, college: Lincoln, MO) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Hebraica players scored in double figures. Hebraica's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Pierina Rossi (171-4) with 7 points and 13 rebounds and Argentinian Julia Centurion scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. Hebraica have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-1 record having 2 victories less than leader D.Sporting. Bohemios at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Malvin and Remeros. Hebraica's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Montevideo.
