Fourth-ranked Abejas (8-12) gave a tough game to third ranked Astros (13-7) in Guanajuato on Thursday. The visitors from Guadalajara managed to secure only two-point victory 95-93. However their fans expected easier game. Astros looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Loveridge (198-93, college: Utah) who scored 21 points and 4 assists. Naturalized American guard Karim Rodriguez (196-88) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Five Astros players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Ryan Pearson (198-90, college: GMU, agency: Inception Sports) who recorded 36 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Darrin Dorsey (188-87, college: DWU) added 18 points and 6 assists respectively.
