Important game to mention about took place in Chihuahua. First ranked Fuerza Regia (12-7) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging second-best Dorados (8-10) 86-85 in the fight for the first place. Fuerza Regia players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by American Dominique Johnson (192-87, college: Azusa Pacific) who scored that evening 30 points and the other American import guard Daniel Bejarano (193-91, college: Colorado St.) supported him with 14 points and 4 assists. Even 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists by naturalized American Durrell Summers (196-89, college: Michigan St.) did not help to save the game for Dorados. American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-93, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) added 21 points and 8 rebounds. Dorados' coach Gustavo Pacheco rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-7 record. Dorados lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second place with ten games lost.
