Bigua defeated Urunday in Montevideo 100-89. Bigua looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American Donald Sims (190-87, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up and scored 29 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and the former international guard Santiago Vidal (180-89) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds, 13 assists and 4 steals. Bigua's coach Diego Cal used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American center Corbin Jackson (201-92, college: Florida Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import Justin Jackson (203-90, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Bigua and five Urunday players scored in double figures. Urunday will play next round against Trouville trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo - Trouville.
