The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Leones MGA's (11-9) home victory over 8th ranked Indigenas (3-19) 78-70 on Friday. Leones MGA looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American Cameron Lard (206-97, college: Iowa St.) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import forward Chris Blake (195-88, college: Detroit) chipped in 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Dominican center Teodoro Romero produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and American James Edmond Jr (205-91, college: Lincoln, MO) added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leones MGA moved-up to sixth place. Indigenas lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 19 games lost. They share it with Tigres.
