Top ranked Brumas (18-5) recorded its fifth loss in Diriangen on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Cacique D. (16-7) 81-71. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Brumas. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Cacique D. forced 19 Brumas turnovers. The best player for the winners was Dominican forward Xavier de la Rosa (196-91) who scored 26 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Jeremy Agosto chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals.
