Regular Season Round 6: Condores - Motilones 70-82

Very expected game when 11th ranked Condores (1-6) lost to seventh ranked Motilones (4-2) in Cundinamarca 70-82 on Tuesday. Motilones forced 22 Condores turnovers. Strangely Condores outrebounded Motilones 44-31 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Yeison Yan notched 33 points (!!!), 6 assists and 4 steals (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American forward Miles Bowman Jr (201-93, college: High Point, agency: BIG) supported him with 9 points and 7 rebounds. Even 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by forward Emmil Williams (188-91) did not help to save the game for Condores. Dominican power forward Brayan Martinez (203-91) added 11 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Motilones have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Team Cali. Condores lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Motilones will meet at home Team Cali (#6) in the next round. Condores will play against Tigrillos and hope to win that game.
