Regular Season Round 10: Centenarios - Halcones 95-107

Undefeated leader Halcones delivered the sixth consecutive victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Centenarios (1-4) 107-95. They outrebounded Centenarios 42-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Salvadorean guard Ricardo Amaya (191-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international swingman Billy Saavedra (190-90) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Five Halcones players scored in double figures. Diego Villagran (-93) replied with 54 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Rony Castro added 20 points in the effort for Centenarios. Halcones (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Centenarios at the other side keep the fifth place with four games lost. Halcones will play against Amatitlan (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Centenarios will play against Forza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
