Regular Season Round 11: Brisas - Manquehue 60-79

Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Santiago: Manquehue (#2) and Brisas (#10). Brisas were smashed at home by 19 points 60-79. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Jorge Schuler (199-87) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and forward Juan Peters (-93) who added 7 points during the contest. Manquehue's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Rodolfo Ordonez (-87) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Felipe Oyarzun (187-89) scored 15 points. Manquehue maintains second position with 8-1 record having five points less than leader Sportiva Italiana. Brisas lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. They share the position with Arturo Prat. Manquehue's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Santiago Stadio Italiano.
