Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Caracas: Spartans and Heroes. Heroes were defeated at home 71-83. Spartans players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. International swingman Pedro Chourio (186-90) stepped up and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and international center Windi Graterol (204-86) chipped in 8 points and 14 rebounds. Four Spartans players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Colombian Jackson Zapata (198-85) responded with 15 points and guard Jesus Tovar (183-90) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Heroes' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
