Regular Season Round 3: Obras - Ferro 79-74

There was a surprise result when Obras (1-1) beat Ferro (1-1) in Buenos Aires 79-74 on Monday. It was an exceptional evening for Luca Valussi (195-98, agency: Duran International) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Uruguayan forward Joaquin Rodriguez (198-99) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Point guard Tomas Spano (183-98) came up with 14 points and 6 assists and point guard Rodrigo Gallegos (186-91) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for Ferro in the defeat. Five Obras and four Ferro players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Obras will meet San Martin (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ferro will play against Instituto in Cordoba and hope to win that game.
