Regular Season Round 3: Union SF - Olimpico 97-74
Date: November 8, 2021
There was a minor upset when Olimpico (1-2) was smashed by Union SF (1-2) in Santa Fe 97-74 on Monday. Union SF made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Dallas Morgan (185, college: CMU, agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Haitian forward Jeantal Cylla (201-96, college: Arkansas, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 15 points for the winning side. Five Union SF players scored in double figures. Forward Santiago Arese (196-87) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds and guard Luciano Caceres (180-1) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for Olimpico in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Union SF will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Olimpico will play against Obera (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
