Regular Season Round 3: H.Americano - Riachuelo LR 77-84

There was no surprise when H.Americano (0-2) lost to Riachuelo LR (2-1) in Rio Gallegos 77-84 on Tuesday. Riachuelo LR outrebounded H.Americano 47-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Tony Farmer (201-94, college: Lee JC) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. The former international forward Pablo Espinoza (201-87) accounted for 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Four Riachuelo LR players scored in double figures. Marcos Saglietti (188-86) came up with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and power forward Jose Peralta (202-95) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for H.Americano in the defeat. Riachuelo LR will meet at home Penarol (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. H.Americano will play against Platense and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
