Everything went according to plan in Pato Branco where top-ranked Vivo/Franca (5-0) outscored bottom-ranked Pato (0-5) 88-66 on Thursday. The best player for the winners was international center Lucas Silva (208-95) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. Four Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Victor Leal (203-96) who recorded 14 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Argentinian Mateo Bolivar (187-92) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vivo/Franca have an impressive five-game winning streak.
