Storm forced 24 Tigrillos turnovers. Strangely Tigrillos outrebounded Storm 38-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. International forward Luis Almanza (196-91) fired 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Italian-Argentinian guard Juan Pablo Cantero (188-82) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. American-U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Georgio Milligan (188-90, college: F&M) produced 22 points and 6 assists and American guard Gabe McCray (201-94, college: SC State, agency: Interperformances) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Storm and four Tigrillos players scored in double figures. Tigrillos' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Storm moved-up to second place, which they share with Cafeteros. Tigrillos lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with four games lost. Storm will meet at home Bucaros (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tigrillos will play against the league's leader Titanes in Barranquilla and hope to secure a win.
