Regular Season Round 3: Gimnasia - Platense 66-62

There was a minor upset when Platense (1-3) lost to Gimnasia CR (1-2) in Comodoro Rivadavia 62-66 on Friday. Gimnasia CR forced 22 Platense turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for guard Franco Ferraria (191-2) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Ramiro Stehli (190-2) accounted for 10 points and 5 steals for the winning side. Four Gimnasia CR players scored in double figures. Gimnasia CR's coach used entire bench in such tough game. Juan Cox came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Felipe Massa added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for Platense in the defeat. Gimnasia CR will meet Union (#10) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Platense will play against Atenas (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
